These Garlic Butter Steak & Mushroom Skewers have become one of our favorite ways to enjoy those flavors. They bring a little flair to the dinner table but are so simple to make that we often throw them together for a quick weeknight meal. Whether we’re firing up the grill outside or using a grill pan in the kitchen, these skewers always hit the spot. And let’s be honest — any excuse to drizzle garlic butter over perfectly cooked steak is one we’re happy to take.

We love these for dinner, but they also make an awesome appetizer or party dish when you want to impress without too much effort. The buttery garlic sauce soaks into the juicy steak and mushrooms, giving each bite that melt-in-your-mouth richness we all crave on keto. Instructions

Prepare the Skewers:

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Marinate the Steak & Mushrooms:

  1. In a large bowl, toss the steak cubes and mushrooms with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Thread the steak and mushrooms onto the skewers, alternating between steak pieces and mushrooms.

Make the Garlic Butter:

  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and chopped parsley. Set aside.

Grill the Skewers:

  1. Place the skewers on the grill or grill pan. Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness and the mushrooms are tender.

Baste with Garlic Butter:

  1. During the last couple of minutes of grilling, brush the skewers generously with the garlic butter sauce. Allow the butter to sizzle and soak into the meat and mushrooms.

Rest & Serve:

  1. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Drizzle with any remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with extra fresh parsley before serving.
